The RUN FOR MILITARY FAMILIES began as an idea that grew and took on a life of its own—supported by schools, businesses, dignitaries, politicians, media, civilians, veterans and military families in the National Capital Region and throughout the Ottawa Valley. For four consecutive years, in addition to the thousands of people who came out to cheer on our runners, Commissionaires Ottawa raised more than $170,000 in support of military families.
